We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our high-performing RAN engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineering and design support for all equipment across multiple project types. This includes setting and tracking project timelines, facilitating communication and coordination between cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful, on-time completion. Additionally, the candidate will support the equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics, create material requests, and forecast future needs based on project start dates. The role also involves ensuring proper tracking of all components, monitoring equipment expenditures, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring vendor payment. Furthermore, the Equipment Specialist will be responsible for equipment procurement and optimization, as well as overseeing equipment receipt and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and design support for all equipment across multiple project types
  • Set and track project timelines, facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams
  • Support equipment engineering team with equipment order logistics, create material requests, and forecast future needs
  • Ensure proper tracking of all components, monitor equipment expenditures, prepare purchase orders, and ensure vendor payment
  • Oversee equipment procurement and optimization, as well as equipment receipt and acceptance

Requirements:

  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge in job-related functional area and of the telecommunications business
  • Wireless experience preferred, working with ordering (RAN) equipment such as radios, cabinets, antennas, shrouds from an ordering and moving equipment perspective
  • Ability to filter POs and use Excel to understand project costs
  • Experience with proprietary project management tools, such as FUZE
  • Engineering or tech degree preferred
