We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a PCU RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
About the RoleThe Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality patient care in collaboration with medical providers. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Performing procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider
- Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Maintaining a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients
Centerpoint Medical Center is a 285+ bed hospital featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our hospital offers a range of clinical services, including a Level II Trauma Center, 24/7 emergency services, and an accredited Chest Pain Center. We are part of HCA Midwest Health, a network of hospitals in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
