Student Bus Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safe school bus driver to transport students to and from school along established routes. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, be able to pass a background check, and possess excellent communication skills.

About the Role: As a part-time bus driver for Student Transportation of America, you will be responsible for operating a school bus safely and efficiently. Your duties will include conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring student safety at all times, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a school bus route, picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive company image by keeping the bus clean and well-maintained.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and participate in training programs as required.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving history with a clean record.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Pass a comprehensive background check.
