Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Great Day Improvements: A Family of Brands. As a Residential Carpenter, you will be responsible for complex carpentry projects, site prep work, and learning the installation of all GDI product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work jacket with supervisor and confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract
  • Perform site prep, including any work needed to modify the existing structure
  • Carpentry work can include deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry work
  • Install All View, ComfortView, and Solarium products
  • Layout and build complex wood roofs
  • Perform service work and collect necessary stage payments from customer when applicable
Requirements
  • At least five years' experience in carpentry, preferably in remodeling with three to five years in a lead role
  • Working knowledge of concrete, electrical, plumbing, roofing, siding, and metal break work
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools, build simple decks, and manage a crew and customers
Performance Expectations
  • Post Installation customer service survey, top score 90% or better
  • Online reviews, 10% of jobs installed
  • Capable of installing all GDI products and complex carpentry
