Clinical Nutrition Specialist

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the nutritional status of neonates/infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient through documentation in the medical record.
- Develops and revises a nutrition care plan based on information from the patient, medical record, family and health care team members.
- Advises department on patient care and food service issues.
- Complies with regulatory agency standards, including federal and state as evidenced by successful completion of surveys with no deficiencies.
- Participates in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program and on Performance Improvement teams to improve processes and patient care.
- Orients, mentors and trains staff and interns, as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Entry Level - Minimum one (1) year work experience as a dietitian preferred.
- Current Licensure in the State of GA as a Dietitian required.
- Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
