Overview:
Renowned Engineering and Design firm is in search of a Senior Transmission Engineer to join their team.

The selected candidate will collaborate with Transmission Line Engineers to facilitate and oversee multiple stages of project planning, proposal development, site assessments, analytical design work, report writing, specification drafting, and the creation of construction documentation and transmission plans as part of a dedicated project team.

Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in PLS-CADD.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate

Working Hours: 8am to 4pm

Educational Background:
Associate's Degree

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the design of various transmission initiatives, including new transmission lines, upgrades, and relocations.

Work effectively within a team to develop 3D transmission line models utilizing PLS-CADD.
Design hardware and compile bills of materials for high voltage overhead transmission line projects.
Produce drawings to prepare construction documents and specifications for high voltage overhead transmission lines.
Assist in the quality assurance of designs, drawings, and revisions on active projects.
Communicate and present designs, drawings, calculations, and plans clearly to the project team.
Support ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by Project Managers and Project Leads.
Organize and maintain all project drawings, plot files, and related information systematically.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Level:
Senior Level

Minimum of 8 years of industry experience

Educational Requirements:
Associate's Degree

Essential Skills:
Expertise in Power Transmission
