We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Endoscopy to join our team at SCA Health. As a key member of our endoscopy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our procedures.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized perioperative patient plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications safely and correctly, utilizing the 8 rights of medication administration.
- Monitor patient status at regular intervals, providing timely interventions to maintain tissue perfusion and prevent complications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects, contributing to the advancement of our endoscopy program.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of GI, OR, and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment.
- Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment.
- Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment.
