Core Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure transportation construction initiatives from diverse clients
  • Act as the resident engineer for various construction projects
  • Oversee project schedules, financial plans, and quality assurance
  • Foster strong relationships within the organization and the industry
  • Engage in staff development and mentorship activities
  • Perform construction engineering tasks, including field layout, quantity assessment, and materials evaluation
  • Assist in the design and planning phases of transportation projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on transportation or construction
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant construction experience
  • Valid driver's license and capability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
  • Experience with WisDOT projects and proficiency in relevant software
