• Job Summary:
• As a Part-Time Package Handler and Switcher at FedEx, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our package handling and switching processes.
•  
• Key Responsibilities:
• Sort packages correctly using basic tools and equipment.
• Operate a switcher or other equipment to move packages efficiently.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
• Meet safety and quality standards, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• A valid driver's license and ability to maintain a DOT file.
• Previous experience as a package handler or switching/CDL operator.
•  
• Working Conditions:
• May work in hot and cold temperatures.
• May work in an environment with fumes.
• May work in an area with loud noise.

Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
