Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MLee Healthcare. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary issues, utilizing your expertise to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests, such as spirometry, arterial blood gases, and pulmonary function tests, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Administer treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy, to alleviate patient symptoms and improve outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions and treatment strategies, promoting patient empowerment and self-management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all interventions and treatments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • CPR and BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
