We are seeking a skilled Digital Imaging Specialist to join our team at UCHealth (Colorado). As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology.
About the Role:- This is an ongoing position with a flexible schedule, requiring 40 hours of work per week.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
- Review patient history, physician orders, and schedule procedures accordingly.
- Educate patients regarding exam procedures, equipment, and ensure their understanding and cooperation.
- Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters for optimal results.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures as required.
- Analyze results and identify any issues with image quality.
- A graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program.
- Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
The salary for this position is estimated at $38.72 - $58.08 per hour, based on relevant experience. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
