Phlebotomist Collector

Job Description: American Health Associates is seeking a part-time/full-time Phlebotomist Collector to join our mobile phlebotomy team. As a Phlebotomist Collector, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in long-term care facilities and patient homes.

About the Role:

• Collect blood samples from patients in various settings, following established procedures and protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and proper specimen handling.
• Work cooperatively with dispatch, laboratory, and courier departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
• Meet productivity and quality standards, as set by management.

Requirements:

• Certified phlebotomy technician or equivalent experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
