Job Summary:
The Froster Artisan is responsible for creating our signature frosting and ensuring that all cakes meet our high standards. This role involves following proprietary recipes and application methods, utilizing commercial-grade equipment, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow proprietary frosting recipes and application methods with precision, achieving productivity goals and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effectively utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers, and pastry bags to frost cakes.
• Prioritize cake pre-orders according to schedule and frost cakes for walk-in guest orders accordingly.
• Ensure an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes are available for guests in the bakery display case and maintain appropriate frosting and frosted cake par levels.
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of frosted cakes, as well as product rotation standards, and maintain frosting and refrigeration logs.
• Monitor inventory of frosting supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Evaluate baked and frosted cakes to ensure Nothing Bundt Cakes standards are met and inform management of any quality control issues.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstations, ensure frosting supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift, and wash equipment in the absence of the Dishwasher/Utility Employee.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and Nothing Bundt Cakes policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
