Position Summary

In this position, you will oversee the effective operation of custodial, grounds, and maintenance services across campus facilities, ensuring they function efficiently, safely, and in accordance with our educational partners' standards while promoting an atmosphere conducive to learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to our dedicated facilities team.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement through targeted training and development programs.
  • Review completed projects for accuracy and adherence to established standards and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting various reports, including long-term facility plans and maintenance schedules.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Play a vital role in the recruitment process, including conducting interviews and making staffing recommendations.
  • Establish training systems to ensure staff meet performance and safety standards.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, reviewing and monitoring financial data while controlling expenditures.
  • Maintain accurate blueprints, specifications, and system plans.
  • Participate in assigned committees.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Over five years of management experience in facilities or maintenance management with significant client interaction.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
