We are seeking a skilled Cook - Part-Time to join our dynamic team at Landmark Lifestyles at Ridgeland. As a valued member, you will play a vital role in creating meaningful experiences for our residents, families, and colleagues.

**Job Overview**
This part-time position is responsible for preparing nutritious, appetizing, and attractive meals according to company menus. The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking and possess excellent communication skills in English. Additionally, they must maintain food handlers permits and certifications as required by state or provincial regulations.

**Responsibilities:**
* Review menus and daily food production records for instructions
* Prepare meals that meet company standards
* Adhere to proper procedures for covering, dating, labeling, and storing food
* Clean kitchen after meals according to cleaning schedules
* Attend training sessions and meetings as requested
* Perform other duties assigned by the Culinary Services Director or Sous Chef

**Requirements:**
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Two years of experience in institutional or full-service restaurant cooking
* Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English
* Maintain food handlers permit and any other certifications as required
* Understand food safety procedures, sanitation of equipment measures, and storage techniques
