Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ink Production Specialist to join our team at INX International Ink. As an Ink Production Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality printing ink.

Key Responsibilities
  • Batch Management: Follow batch instructions to weight batches, charge, and mix inks.
  • Mixing and Blending: Understand proper mixing procedures and raw materials, and monitor temperature and mix speeds to ensure optimal results.
  • Quality Control: Make QC adjustments as instructed and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Weight quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high-quality printing ink.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Package the finished product and ensure that it is ready for shipping.
  • Material Handling: Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the facility.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
  • Skills: Basic math, communication, and mechanical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5S Workplace Knowledge: Understanding of 5S workplace principles.
  • TPM Knowledge: Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work 10-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
