Job Description

**About the Role**

DIY Media Group Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Support Representative to join their team. As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting the inside sales team in converting leads into customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing authors to speak with sales specialists
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the conversion of prospects to clients
  • Explain product and service offerings to prospects
  • Follow a prescribed sales process
  • Participate in outbound calling campaigns
  • Meet productivity requirements for calls, emails, and chats processed per day

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of the book publishing or book printing business is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and language skills
  • Ability to conduct effective sales transactions via phone, email, and chat
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high customer contact environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Computer literacy and math skills

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform work at a computer and telephone station for 90% of the day

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma and sales or customer service experience
