Job Title: Sanitation Worker

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company seeking a skilled Sanitation Worker to join our team. As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, clean, and sanitize production equipment and production work areas using pressure sprayers, foamers, and other sanitation equipment.
  • Assist in setup and start of designated production equipment, such as ovens and pasteurizers.
  • Participate in Clean Out of Place (COP) procedures and inspect and maintain rodent control stations.
  • Complete required paperwork and assist in production jobs as needed.
  • Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP and HACCP guidelines, and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure SQF certification.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience or training required.
  • Ability to read and write simple sentences and perform basic math operations.
  • Ability to work indoors in a damp environment with industrial strength cleaners and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. safely and operate specific equipment or tools.
