Overview of Job Role

Clinical Nurse Coordinators play a pivotal role in overseeing patient care within our healthcare unit, ensuring quality assessment and coordination of clinical services.

  • This position involves collaboration with nursing staff and healthcare teams to monitor patient conditions, implement care plans, and provide education to patients and families throughout the treatment process.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Affirm, assess, monitor, record, report, and follow through on symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and modify the plan of care, as indicated by the patient's responses and conditions.
  • Delegate nursing tasks as appropriate and safe but retain accountability for patient care.
  • Provide individualized education for the patient, family, and/or caregiver throughout the continuum of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
  • RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association.
