Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our PACU team. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide and coordinate nursing care to patients, protecting, promoting, and optimizing health, preventing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response.
Responsibilities- Provide and coordinate nursing care to patients in the PACU
- Protect, promote, and optimize health, prevent illness and injury, and alleviate suffering through the treatment of the human response
- Partner with patients, their families, and significant others to provide individualized care
- Document interventions and an individualized plan of care
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- 1 year of recent Adult ICU or PACU experience
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota
- Certification in area of clinical specialty
- BSN preferred, Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged
This is a 0.75 FTE (6 shifts/pay period), 10-hour shifts, Evening, every 4th weekend, and Call position. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
