Job Role: Respiratory Therapist
Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Ocala, FL
Compensation: $27 - $36 Hourly (Dependent on experience).
Work Environment: On-Site
Role Summary:
  • The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will carry out all duties related to respiratory care under general supervision.
  • Responsible for the setup and administration of both routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures for patients across all age groups.
  • Tasked with the application and management of acute care ventilators utilized for both short-term and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Expected to operate independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for the department and hospital, ensuring accurate data entry into the hospital's system for the therapies administered.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of RECENT (within the last year or currently) ACUTE CARE RRT Experience; CRT Experience will not be considered.
  • Must possess a valid Florida license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or be eligible for state licensure.
