Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist - Cortland, NY

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Cortland, NY. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students with highly involved needs, providing center-based speech therapy and specializing in students with Autism or emotional disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Determine eligibility for speech services and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload
  • Provide reports of children's progress to parents
  • Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • New York SLP license
  • TSSLD credential
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ASHA-certified
  • Experience working with students with Autism or emotional disorders
