Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fitness Specialist to join our team at StretchLab. As a Stretching Therapist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches and lead guided group stretching classes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional client experiences by providing personalized stretching sessions and promoting a positive and welcoming environment.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues through effective communication and empathy.
- Drive business growth by building membership and retaining current clientele.
- Ensure client safety by enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices by attending staff meetings and educational presentations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling member concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support sales efforts by assisting sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales, as needed.
- Develop and maintain a strong online presence by promoting StretchLab's services and engaging with clients on social media.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are clean, organized, and available for client use.
- Implement COVID-19 health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff and clients.
- Love of boutique fitness environment and passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility.
- Preferred background in massage therapy, personal training, physical therapy, Pilates or yoga instruction, or dance instruction.
- Fitness certification required.
- Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people.
- Fantastic communication skills that exude empathy and professionalism.
- Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve their fitness goals.
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to company policies.
- Must successfully complete our proprietary Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials, a 2-day in-person seminar, and 20 hours of additional supervised stretching.
