Job Summary

Armada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Security Advisor to join our team. As a Special Security Advisor, you will be responsible for providing security support to the United States Air Force Central Command (USAFCENT) in the Air Force Service Component of United States Central Command (USCENTCOM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Operations: Provide security support to USAFCENT Intelligence Directorate (A2) and ensure the proper handling and dissemination of sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Physical Security: Assist in providing overall physical security and ensure that all current and future SCI facilities (SCIFs) comply with the physical security standards outlined in ICD 705 and other applicable directives.
  • Personnel Security: Maintain applicable SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to adequately discharge SSO duties and responsibilities.
  • Security Awareness: Provide all security awareness training as required by regulations and requested by the COR.
  • Security Program Management: Maintain the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to accurately reflect all personnel under their security cognizance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of related experience in Personnel Security, Physical Security, and Industrial Security.
  • Experience: 3 years of related experience working with SCI in multiple security disciplines, and experience with managing SCI programs as a Special Security Officer.
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, stay alert and focused, and coordinate and manage electronic security equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience working with SCI in multiple security disciplines.
  • Training: Formal SSO certification training and a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) 705 Physical Security Course.
