Key Responsibilities:
• Promote hygiene and comfort for residents.
• Assist with meal distribution and feeding.
• Support residents with repositioning and transfers.
• Facilitate ambulation and transportation of residents.
• Monitor and document fluid intake and output.
• Weigh residents and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and postmortem care.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Provide perineal care and basic colostomy care.
• Report observations and assessments to the nursing team.
• Measure and record vital signs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident units.
• Prepare rooms for housekeeping after resident discharge.
Qualifications:
• Valid New York State CNA Certification is required.
• Previous experience in long-term care is advantageous.
