About the Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Coach to join our Emergency Department Program at the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). As a Recovery Coach, you will play a critical role in connecting patients with local support services and resources, developing personalized recovery plans, and providing ongoing support and follow-up as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with emergency department staff to identify opportunities for recovery coaching
  • Connect patients with local support services and resources
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans for patients
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in recovery coaching or related field preferred

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
