Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our team. As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with duties including, but not limited to, in-store merchandising, customer service, and POS transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and a goal of 0 customer complaints.
  • Engage customers with excellent customer service, making them feel welcome and comfortable in-store.
  • Contribute to sales and inventory goal attainment through promotion of products and excellent customer service.
  • Assist in outbound customer communications by conducting outbound calls, sending or emailing thank you notes, and inviting customers to company-held events.
  • Maintain current knowledge of products and promotions to effectively assist customers.
  • Assemble and disassemble merchandise and promotional displays in a timely manner at the beginning and end of promotional periods.
  • Manage and maintain stock in-store.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable environment for customers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated in a clear, concise, accurate, timely, and professional manner.
  • Ability to follow instructions with a positive attitude.
  • Comfortable with the use of computers.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, able to apply basic mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to stand and/or sit continuously to perform job functions for a full shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of retail sales experience preferred.
