Job SummaryThis is a 12-week travel nurse position with a start date of January 13th. The nurse will work 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, providing high-quality care to surgical patients in a fast-paced CVOR environment.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive perioperative care to surgical patients, including recovery, procedure, and operating room duties.
- Stock and maintain operating rooms with sterile equipment, linens, and supplies.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for each patient.
- Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting areas to be operated on.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist surgeons during procedures, applying sterile techniques to handle medical instruments and equipment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Active State-Approved Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certification as an Operating Room Nurse (CNOR).
- 3-5 years of experience in perioperative care.
- Exceptional knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment, as well as sterile techniques.
- Proficiency in recordkeeping and patient management systems.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $85,000-$105,000, based on a 40-hour workweek and tax-free stipend.
