Compensation Package:$70,000 - $135,000 salary plus performance bonuses
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when suitable and reach fair agreements
- Conduct thorough research on relevant case law and premises liability, and compile necessary documentation including insurance policies, medical expenses, and medical records
- Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide informed legal counsel to prospective clients
- Represent clients as legal counsel during mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation processes
- Oversee personal injury case files from initiation to resolution
- Identify ethical solutions to legal challenges
- Manage PIP recorded statements and PIP Examinations Under Oath
- Ensure comprehensive case management throughout the process
- Stay updated on current legislation and case law developments
- Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with clients
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, written discovery, and motions
- Argue motions and conduct depositions
- Promote firm services within the community as necessary
- A bachelor's degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree are essential
- Strong negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are preferred
- Active membership in the State Bar Association and a valid state license to practice law are mandatory
- Proficiency in computer usage is essential
- Must be a Florida licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar, with no history of disciplinary actions or malpractice
- Exceptional academic credentials are required
- Self-motivated individual with long-term career aspirations
- Excellent oral and written advocacy skills
