Ophthalmic Photographer

The Ophthalmic Photographer plays a critical role in the Retina Group of Florida's mission to provide exceptional patient care. As a key member of the imaging department, this individual will be responsible for capturing high-quality ophthalmic photographs and performing various imaging procedures.

• Perform intravenous fluorescein angiographies and ICG angiographies with precision and accuracy.
• Operate color fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, and retinal thickness analysis equipment to capture detailed images of the eye.
• Obtain informed consent from patients as required.
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of cameras and associated instruments.
• Assist with the smooth flow of the clinic and maintain adequate levels of supplies.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and security protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
• Support the Retina Group of Florida's Mission Statement and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• 2-year recent experience in a related field, with COA or COT certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to exhibit patience, compassion, and excellent customer service skills.
• Flexibility with hours and local area travel.
• Ability to work in multiple software programs and applications.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must have attention to detail and accuracy.
