Job Summary

Council Veterinary Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced veterinarian to lead our small animal practice in the greater Oklahoma City area. As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital, leading a team of veterinarians and support staff, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of veterinarians and support staff to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with the Medical Advisor Board to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments and best practices
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the community
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • 3+ years of current, hands-on, clinical experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Commitment to lifelong learning and staying current on industry developments
