Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Ortho team at Medical City Dallas. As a PRN Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to adult and geriatric Ortho patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient care plans based on identified needs.
  • Implement nursing care within the RN's scope of practice, including compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement teaching plans to promote patient education and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of TX required, compact license accepted.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital within the last 3 years.
  • Experience in Ortho highly preferred.
