Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating Derivative Trading Applications. Your expertise in Java and experience in Capital Markets will be essential in understanding and translating business requirements into technical design specifications.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and integrate Derivative Trading Applications using Java and industry-standard test automation frameworks.
* Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, including Traders, Operations, and Strats.
* Identify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiatives.
* Implement unit and integration test cases.
* Document changes necessary to support business.

Requirements:

* 8+ years of engineering experience.
* 5+ years of experience with Java (JDK 8+).
* 2+ years of experience with Capital Markets.
* Experience in Trading.
* Good knowledge of Financial Instruments, including Derivatives and Fixed Income securities.
* Experience developing High-Load Systems.
* Working with Distributed Applications.
* Using Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar).
* Setting up Cache/In-Memory Data Grids (Redis, Hazelcast, Apache Ignite, Memcached, or similar).
* Experience with multiplatform enterprise service development and challenges of data serialization.
* Experience with developing service wrappers for Python or C++ libraries.
* REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication).
* Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management).
* Expert practitioner of Object-Oriented techniques.
* Solid expertise in Concurrency and Multithreading.
* Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator).
* JMS (Active MQ or similar).
* MS SQL Server.
* Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD).
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

Nice to Have:

* Experience interfacing with Murex Flex API.
* Understanding how Derivative instruments are valued.
* Apache Camel (Version 2 or 3).
* Trade life cycle management.
