Job Title: Electrician Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Electrician Apprentice to assist experienced electricians in installing electrical devices on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians in measuring, cutting, and pulling wire to device locations
  • Test electrical equipment or systems for proper functioning
  • Strip insulation from wire ends and attach wires to terminals
  • Perform semi-skilled laboring duties related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
  • Dig trenches or holes for conduit or supports installation
  • Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment, and organize supplies according to instructions

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work from various types of ladders and extension ladders
  • Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and electrical trade
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in residential or commercial electrical new-build projects
  • Prior experience operating hand tools and equipment, such as cable cutters and hammer drills
  • Basic knowledge of circuitry
