Green Acres Nursing and Rehab is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to enhance speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills.
- Work closely with patients to improve their ability to communicate effectively and safely ingest food and liquids.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university.
- Valid license and registration for the state of Maryland.
- Experience with long-term care is preferred.
