Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports for various clients, ensuring adherence to established accounting standards.
  • Providing support in budgeting, taxation, auditing, and cash management.

Essential Duties:

Your role will include:

  • Generating monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, along with necessary quantitative analyses.
  • Reconciling accounts for both income statements and balance sheets.
  • Collaborating with client facilities to ensure timely and accurate documentation for financial reporting.
  • Reviewing and validating source documents and schedules submitted by facilities.
  • Preparing journal entries and explanations for adjustments to financial statements.
  • Conducting cash reconciliations and other financial reconciliations.
  • Communicating financial results and budget discrepancies with client facilities.
  • Offering support for financial audits and tax-related inquiries.
  • Assisting in the preparation and oversight of budgets.
  • Engaging with the Finance and Consulting Teams to foster collaboration.
  • Supporting the Vice President of Financial Services with specialized audits and projects.
  • Maintaining a culture of compliance, ethics, and integrity.
  • Ensuring confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations.
  • Upholding a safe work environment and adhering to safe work practices.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in financial statement preparation.
  • Public accounting experience and an active CPA license are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial regulations, particularly Medicare and Medicaid.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and analytical skills.

Work Environment:

In this role, you will collaborate with various departments and may need to work beyond standard hours as required. Participation in ongoing education programs is encouraged.
