Position: Student Worker - Financial Aid & Business Office
Overview:
This role involves providing essential clerical and customer service support within the Financial Aid and Business Office. The position is located on the main campus and is designed for students seeking to gain valuable work experience while contributing to the college community.
Compensation: $14.00 per hour, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Address general inquiries related to billing and financial aid.
- Uphold the institution's commitment to a supportive and caring environment.
- Execute basic clerical tasks efficiently.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of the FAFSA for the current academic year.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
- Enrollment in a credential-seeking program at the institution.
- Maintenance of a GPA of 2.0 or higher, demonstrating satisfactory academic progress.
- Enrollment in at least 6 credit hours applicable to the program of study.
- Demonstration of unmet financial need for federal work-study eligibility.
- Consent to background checks as required by state law.
