We are seeking a dedicated part-time music instructor to deliver engaging lessons in various instruments, including voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, and ukulele. Experience in group instruction and ensemble coaching is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and drums at our music school.
- Foster a supportive, enjoyable, and focused learning environment.
- Evaluate students' readiness for band or ensemble participation.
- Assist students in preparing for performances.
- Optional: Lead group lessons or rock band sessions.
- Optional: Instruct in recording arts and manage recording sessions using Pro Tools.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading music notation with a solid grasp of music theory.
- Demonstrated advanced technique on primary instrument(s).
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure punctuality and maintain student engagement.
- Comfortable performing solo or in group settings.
- Ability to connect with a diverse range of students, including children and adults.
- Must pass a background check.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with education, experience, and availability.
