Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our Global Cloud and Compute Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing global IT enterprise capabilities across our four Data Centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, a passion for system administration best practices, modern security best practices, and information technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1/2 support for critical system challenges until resolution for Linux, and Enterprise Storage related issues.
  • Perform updates, troubleshooting, and server building tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Linux, Unix, and AIX team to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
  • Develop and implement system administration best practices to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and resolve system-related issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience working as a Linux Administrator.
  • Experience supporting Redhat.
  • Experience providing level 1 or 2 support for internal employees.
  • Strong experience supporting system challenges, doing upgrades/updates, and providing troubleshooting to servers.
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • IBM iSeries and pSeries hardware knowledge.
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Background.
