We are opening an office in the Houston, TX area and have an opening for a lead electrical engineer. This is a great opportunity to help start and grow a new office location. Responsibilities include leading a professional consulting office, developing client relationships in the industrial and utility industries, overseeing technical design for the Houston office, and mentoring new engineers with regards to company culture and quality process. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering; 8+ years of progressive power or industrial industry experience; P.E. License; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work in a team environment; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant must have an advanced knowledge of power engineering principles, be expert regarding applicable codes, standards, and design tools, possess basic project management execution skills, and have the ability to oversee and direct design personnel on a project team.
