Job Description

Position Overview

The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves handling a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team, including maintaining a clean and organized environment, adhering to store standards, and providing customers with current product information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere greeting.
  • Create a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
  • Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
  • Provide customers with current relevant information about the product.
  • Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
  • Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
  • Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Native Americans receive preference in accordance with Tribal Law.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.
  • Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions.
  • Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
  • Participate in all inventories.
