Dental Hygienist

Minimum Qualifications
  • Dental Hygienist License: Hold a current dental hygienist license in Georgia and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification: Hold current CPR certification.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience: Welcome both experienced and new graduates to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Possess experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to Learn: Demonstrate a desire to continue learning and growing your clinical skills to meet the needs of our patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to Perform Essential Duties: Possess the ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental.
  • Prolonged Sitting and Standing: Be able to perform prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Virtual Training Sessions: Be available to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
