Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures, maintain equipment, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiographic principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography scans
  • Maintain and troubleshoot radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Prepare patients for exams, positioning them correctly and ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Verify patient and procedure information, adhering to radiation safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to departmental and regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
  • Certificate or Associate's degree in Radiology Technology
  • Previous experience as a radiographer or 1 year experience at ALGH as a radiographer
  • ARRT Registered or registry eligible
  • Current CPR Certification
Working Conditions

The Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, exposed to radiation during procedures. The ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance is required, and patient handling equipment will be used when necessary.
