Quality Assurance Production Inspector

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for a prominent client.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Operators and Engineers in evaluating the quality of electronic components.
- Conduct Receiving and In-Process Inspections.
- Validate electronic assemblies in compliance with J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards, including Space Level (Class 3) specifications.
- Authorize in-process production by verifying specifications, performing visual and measurement tests, and providing necessary adjustments and feedback to production and quality assurance management.
- Inspect surface mount and through-hole circuit boards.
- Examine cables, wires, terminals, solder joints, and perform reworks as required.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610, including Class 3 requirements.
- 3-5 years of experience in inspecting PCBs, subassemblies, and modules.
- Experience in inspecting Class 2 and 3 PCBs.
- Proficient in using a microscope for extended periods.
- Certification or previous certification in J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
- Ability to utilize various mechanical inspection tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gauges, radius gage, etc.).
- Understanding of blueprint requirements and data sheet interpretation.
- Familiarity with electronic contract manufacturing processes, including SMT, through-hole, mechanical assembly, conformal coating, testing, and box build.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
Compensation: $20-$23 per hour
