Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Grill Cook to join our team at CAVA - Brea Gateway. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of menu items, including grilled meats, vegetables, and grains, using our proprietary recipes.
  • Cooking Techniques: Develop and maintain expertise in various cooking techniques, such as grilling, sautéing, and roasting.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operation and efficient food preparation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) and basic knife skills training.
  • Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
