Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our Rhinelander Clinic team at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, maintain accurate clinical records, and support our medical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care, including maintenance of clinical records and documentation.
  • Perform a wide range of patient care activities and accommodative services for medical staff.
  • Make decisions consistent with clinic policies and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited MA program or three years of equivalence in medical background and experience.
  • Previous healthcare experience beneficial.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
