Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and apply paint to signage according to specified guidelines
- Ensure quality standards in mixing, application, masking, and finishing align with both customer and company expectations
- Interpret work orders, verify materials, and adhere to instructions for the timely and quality completion of assigned projects
- Utilize internal production software to track job progress, including updating hours, closing work orders, and documenting materials and procedures
- Communicate any changes or delays to management
- Collaborate effectively with other production teams on project-related inquiries to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the day
- Care for and maintain assigned tools and equipment
- Monitor material inventory to minimize waste and manage costs
- Adhere to established quality standards and conduct final quality checks upon project completion
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, blueprints, and work orders
- Comply with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications
- Experience as an industrial painter or in a sign fabrication/manufacturing setting
- Understanding of paint booth operations and painting methodologies
- Knowledge of various painting materials and surfaces
- Proficiency in computer use, particularly in a Windows environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid math skills (addition, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals)
- Experience in a hands-on work environment
- Dependability, adaptability, and a professional demeanor
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 25 lbs. without mechanical assistance
- Capability to troubleshoot issues and devise solutions; read, comprehend, and interpret work orders; follow both written and verbal instructions; accurately use and read a tape measure; manage multiple tasks in a schedule-driven environment while maintaining precision; take direction and show a willingness to learn; work flexible hours as necessary; collaborate as part of a team or independently
- High school diploma, trade school diploma, or GED
- Authorization to work in the United States
