Job Summary

The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of assigned patients. This role requires intimate knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Supervise assigned personnel.
  • Interpret and communicate information in a written, auditory, or visual fashion.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
  • Related experience preferred one-year postpartum.
  • Current FL RN License required or recognized Compact Licensure.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification or obtain within 3 months of hire.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
