Position Overview
- Maintain comprehensive records of equipment inspections, upkeep, and repairs.
- Oversee the electrical and mechanical aspects of HVAC systems.
- Generate detailed reports regarding repairs, maintenance activities, and enhancement initiatives.
- Supervise both corrective and preventive maintenance operations.
- Address emergency situations promptly.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance.
- Specialized training in facility maintenance.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with building automation systems.
- Understanding of air handling units (A.H.U.'s), variable air volume systems (VAV's), and split systems.
- Experience in chemical testing for closed water loops.
- Proficiency in plumbing and refrigerant management.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Capability to develop and implement maintenance programs.
- Supervise subcontractor activities.
- Physical capability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Strong communication skills.
Skills and Competencies
Proficient in various computer operating systems and the MS Office Suite. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
