Dietary Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our team at Foundations Behavioral Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, unit packing, and food distribution to units for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals.
• Help with dietary restrictions as needed for patients.
• Clean serving areas and equipment in kitchens.
• Utilize proper hygiene, food handling, and storage techniques to ensure a safe food source for patients.
• Complete sanitation of unit's refrigerators, ovens, and stoves.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and write English and complete simple mathematical calculations.
• One year of serving experience preferred.
