About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our team at Foundations Behavioral Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients by preparing and serving nutritious meals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, unit packing, and food distribution to units for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals.
- Help with dietary restrictions as needed for patients.
- Clean serving areas and equipment in kitchens.
- Utilize proper hygiene, food handling, and storage techniques to ensure a safe food source for patients.
- Complete sanitation of unit's refrigerators, ovens, and stoves.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and write English and complete simple mathematical calculations.
- One year of serving experience preferred.
